AFP member charged
An AFP employee is scheduled to appear before court today to face a charge of one count of negligent, furious or reckless driving contrary to section 117(2) of the Road Transport Act 2013 (NSW).
The employee was off duty when the alleged incident occurred, and received a Court Attendance Notice from NSW Police on 3 May 2024.
The matter will be heard in a NSW court on Monday, 1 July, 2024. The member has been suspended from duty.
As the matter is before the Court, no further comment will be made.
