What you'll do

As a PSO in Exmouth, you'll:

  • patrol the facility by drone, on foot or in a vehicle
  • protect critical Australian Defence installations
  • be a frontline defender against national security threats.

Our PSOs work alongside Defence at the Naval Communications Station Harold E Holt, a short 10 minute drive from Exmouth.

In Exmouth, PSOs work in small teams. So you'll get a wider range of work experiences than in a capital city role. You'll also get unique opportunities working alongside Defence.
