Suspicious fire at Dickson College

ACT Policing is investigating a suspicious fire at Dickson College today (May 22) about 12.40pm.

ACT Fire Brigade attended the college and extinguished the fire, which was located in a classroom. No injuries of students were reported.

About 600 students were evacuated from the college. During the evacuation process a teacher injured her foot and required medical attention.

The fire caused minor damage to one classroom. AFP Forensic Services is currently examining the scene.

Police would urge anyone who may be able to provide information to assist the investigators to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
